In Genesis 2:7 it is written. "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul". What is meant by the breath of life?

The breath of life is simply to give life... to make one heartbeat and get the brain functioning to give awareness. The first humans were obviously clones, so they were created as adults. It was only later when these adults procreated that children were born through women.
